Jalen Ramsey has agreed to a 1-year, $700,000 pro-rated deal with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League, per sources close to The Henny Report.
Ramsay, a corner for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, will be utilized in a “power-play quarterback” role for the Moose.
Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff issued a statement regarding Ramsay’s signing:
“We (Jets organization) are pleased to welcome Jalen and his diverse skill set to the Moose’ locker room and wish him great success and a bright NHL future.”
Ramsay declined comment but will report directly to Manitoba once he finishes the NFL season and/or learning to skate, whichever comes first.
