Can’t say enough about our 24 year old future ace Walker Buehler in this series. 11.2 IP, 15k, and only 5 ER verse undoubtedly the best offense in the National League throughout 2 starts.
After surrounding a first inning home run to noted ass eating outfielder Christian Yelich, Buehler settled down and pitched his way towards 3.2 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts.
Following Buehler’s exit in the 5th, Roberts called on Julio Urias to get a crucial out. And there’s a chance Chris Taylor’s diving play goes down in history as one of the best catches in the history of the postseason. Sure the Dodgers need to win the World Series for this play to truly be remembered, but god damn this was such a great catch.
RIP to Julio Urias’s abuela: RIP
Puig ended this game. I’m talking signed sealed deliver type of shit. Huge homer in the 6th. Puig Power
Rivalry Restored: I’m sure every Brooklyn Robins fan still alive is rejoicing.
